black forest gateau- I used chocolate sandwich cakes, sliced in half, and filled with cherry jam and cream laced with cherry liquor. it is topped with cherry jam in the middle, surrounded by more of the cream, decorated with squirty cream and a crumbled flake.

I made this last night and put it in the fridge. This photo was taken seconds before devouring!

btw I have quite a few of those cake stands- second hand- I have I bit of a plate fettish! I even gave her some plates for her birthday, so she can start her own collection! *Plate blog* anybody? no, I'm getting hysterical now- its 2 in the morning!!!!!!!!
